প্রসাদ [ prasāda ] n grace, favour, propitiousness (ঈশ্বরপ্রসাদ); food-offering to a deity (this is taken by devotees after the sacrifice); remains of food taken by a superior or venerable person (গুরুর প্রসাদ); complacency; (of lit. composition) lucidity, clarity, perspicuity (also প্রসাদগুণ). প্রসাদ পাওয়া v. to enjoy the grace of; to partake of the food offered to a deity or of the remains of food taken by a superior person. প্রসাদ নেওয়া v. to partake of the food offered to a deity or of the remains of food taken by a superior person. প্রসাদন n. act of pleasing, propitiation. ~প্রার্থী a. & n. one who asks for or seeks a favour; one desirous of partaking of the food offered to a deity or of the remains of food taken by a superior person. fem. ~প্রার্থিনী । প্রসাদাৎ adv. through the grace or favour of. প্রসাদিত propitiated. প্রসাদী a. প্রসাদ [ prasāda ] বি. 1 প্রসন্নতা (চিত্তের প্রসাদ); 2 অনুগ্রহ (গুরুর প্রসাদে); 3 দেবতাকে নিবেদিত ভোজ্যসামগ্রী বা গুরুজনের ভুক্তাবশেষ; 4 রচনার প্রাঞ্জলতাগুণ; 5 সৌম্যতা। [সং. প্র + √ সদ্ + অ]। ~গুণ বি. রচনাদির মনোহর প্রাঞ্জলতাগুণ। ~ন, ~না বি. সন্তুষ্টকরণ, তুষ্টিবিধান। প্রসাদাৎ ক্রি-বিণ. অনুগ্রহের ফলে, অনুগ্রহে (ঈশ্বরপ্রসাদাৎ)। প্রসাদিত বিণ. প্রসন্ন করা হয়েছে এমন; প্রসাদ লাভ করেছে এমন। প্রসাদি বিণ. দেবতাকে নিবেদন করা হয়েছে এমন (প্রসাদি ফুল); গুরুজন-কর্তৃক উপভুক্ত ও প্রসাদরূপে গণ্য।
